I'm trying to grab a frame of video on Windows XP to turn into a thumbnail graphic. Due to the codec used by the Windows Media AVI files I'm working with, Quicktime won't work - it doesn't support the codec. I've been playing with the Movieplayer in Windows media mode, but I can't seem to figure out a way to dump a video frame into a picture object. Also I need to avoid actually having a movieplayer on the screen for this interface. Any ideas?

Greg
