Yes, you're right, and the problem was that I wasn't thinking it through. I
am creating a CLI that can take a script from a file, and that script might
ask for additional input from the user. Unfortunately, I was still of the
mindset that the script would be fed to my app via stdin, and of course,
that's wrong.
The short form is, it ends up being a non-issue for what I'm trying to
accomplish. The lesson here is to not post questions late at night when
you're already working on 4 hours of sleep. :-)
