I use ojbect2D objects in an application. These objects overlay photographs, and it is useful to have partial opacity using fill values between 0 and 1. This works beautifully in OSX, but doesn't work in windows, where fill only has two states: 0 or 1.

I'm also under the impression that vista supports transparency (opacity) much better than prior versions of windows.

My question: Does ojbect2D fill (opacity) work in vista, either immediately, or in the near future?

I doubt it as they would need to use GDI+ in order to get such effects.

However, Aaron has done a huge amount of work making GDI+ accessible - check out his blog
