RB3D specifically.  This is not to say that we're going to abandon  
this part completely.  We would still like to be able to integrate  
any new changes from the community into the product, but the  
community will be able to fix bugs and release updates anyway it sees  
fit.  So if you want dynamic linkage, I'm sure someone will build a  
plug-in to do just that.
