The fact that RB3D is being deprecated is what is horribly
disappointing. I strongly support the idea (discussed earlier) of
trying to create a 3rd-party solution to this problem (though, since
I have experience with C++ or plugins, I don't think I can offer
material support). Is anything happening on this?

Even so, I have not had trouble producing 3D applications for both
Mac and Windows at present. I have been compiling Universal Binaries
and Windows applications using RB2007r4 Pro (on a Powerbook G4, OS X
10.4.10.) But one does have to put the Quesa.framework supplied by RS
into the /Library/Frameworks folder before compiling. I don't believe
that having the library in the CFMSupport helps with compiling for
UBs. But with the build settings set to generate UBs, and the
Quesa.framework in the proper place, I have had no trouble compiling
and running the several examples I have tried.

Best wishes, Tom Moore
