Rubbish.  I;ve never read a REALbasic book in my life.
Sure they might help. But since the guy is already an experienced programmer
the best way is just to pick a project and get stuck in.  The combination of
the User Guide and Language reference ( yes - even though it is not totally
up to date ) has seen me fine.

Plus of course the NUG and forums.

By all means read a book, but buying all or lots of them is just silly and
futile.
