I agree with both of Arnaud's statements, but of course I'm not in your
situation. You seem really, really happy about dropping Win98 ;)
If you have very few users who need Win98 support, or very little
possibility of gaining new Win98 users, it might not be worth the hassle.
But, because you say that all else seems to be working, this does *seem* to
sound like it might be doable.
I have a Win98 machine on which I could test a simplified version of your
code if you like. If so, send off list.
