I agree with you, except for the deprecate part. Deprecating
composite windows means deprecating Mac OS targets, because this is
the behavior of modern Mac OS X applications. However I must admit
that, a Mac application made with RB, is now so distant from a
*standard* Mac application that the Mac OS target is deprecating
itself. What the user perceive using a RB made application for Mac,
is a legacy application. And this is not about using Carbon instead
of Cocoa, but the fact that a Carbon application made with Xcode and C
++ can leverage on features which RB simply can't access, even using
declares.

Again, I agree only in part. I don't think returning licenses can
sort any effect.
