> I haven't adjusted the thread priority, but everything > else you mentioned I have done. I imagine that what's being said here is accurate - that a thread will not help. However, I seem to remember that, at least in my case, having a thread priority set to anything other than 1 seemed to make no noticeable difference in application response.
