Thanks so much for your reply, Tim... very much appreciated!

I've been reading through dozens of posts on this issue in the RB
forums, and it seems like no one has yet to find either a cause or a
cure. If things were working in the current release, I'd renew my
subscription immediately to get back on track.

I've tried:
Trashing preferences.
Quitting & re-opening the project.
Quitting & re-opening RB, both by double-clicking my project, and just
double-clicking the IDE icon and then opening the project from within.
Rebooting my computer (MBPro, Leopard 10.5.3).
Closing some tabs... all tabs, then re-opening.
Re-naming the variable that won't complete (Several, actually!).

Nothing's helped so far. This has happened to me once or twice in the
past, but believe it or not, I've always gotten around it by just
typing the code in a different area of the same window where for no
reason at all, the autocomplete was still working. Then I'd just copy
& paste it to where I actually wanted the code to go.

If anyone else has a tip, I'd love to hear it... otherwise, I'm off to
try general machine maintenance to 'clean' it up...

Murphy's law... this is the worst possible timing....

Thanks, everyone!

Cheers,
Jon
