Is there a way I can add the version information to the converted plugin so it appears in the usual manner with Get Info?

You could try pasting the 'vers' resource into the resource fork (which you'll have to create) of the converted document. REALbasic certainly won't mind that. I don't know whether the Finder will display version information for a document -- if it won't, then what you want can't be done. But if it will, this will probably do it.

This works for plugins in the old format; I just took a look at some plugins. They contain a 'vers' resource and the Finder displays the information. Perhaps one could add a 'vers' resource to a plugin in .rbx format as well.

If a resource fork is added to a plugin, and it is brought into a Windows environment (for the Windows version of REALbasic) will this cause a problem?
