Well you have to take into account that you have 4 platforms, MacOS Classic,
MacOS X, Windows and Linux.

So there is no such thing as finding a open source and glue it in as open/or
closed source controls that work on all of those platforms just dont exists.

(Yes you need to write 4 controls, one for each platform API's)

Even if we forget Linux and the Mac and you only want for Windows for
example then there is no such thing as just glue it in, almost everything
regarding control making in the Plugin SDK is measured in months.
