I fear the REAL never designed their new Plugin Bridge in RB2005 to support using the internal classes in this way when drawing the IDE representation of your control.

This is wrong, we expressed concern over this and they did design it and add it with list of restrictions.

The restrictions were that classes with over 4096 bytes of class data cannot be instanced, and Interface methods could not be loaded and few other minor restrictions.

With this road map and promise then it was still valid to consider and even plan to stay on the REALbasic boat.

It was working up to b2 when REALNewInstance broke, and since then everything has been stuck.
