Is it true that the keyword self, used in a ContainerControl,

Then an obvious question, believe once asked earlier on this list,
should we care about the REALcontrol living on a ContainerControl
when in the RB designtime?
The whole thing about container controls is a mess, I am listing them
as unsupported in every way. There seems to be no way for a control
to detect if they live on such. And REAL does not seem to answer
questions about this. (Which is does not come as surprise given their
recent track record).
So until all problems with ContainerControl are fixed and they bother
to answer questions then there is no way to support it in any way.
