Methods available for Plugin protection

Hello Yall,

I have an app in OSX that uses an internally developed plugin. I need  
to find the best way to secure my plugin for distribution once  
compiled as it seems that you can re-use plugins compiled in an app  
package.

Any suggestions would be great.
