Interfaces and marking routines console safe ?

For a class or module it seems that you can mark certain methods as  
console safe.

Can you do that same for an interface defined in a plugin ?

So far I have not had any luck doing so

The reason I ask is that for a GUI app the interface should have a  
couple methods that return pictures, but for a console app this won't  
work as Picture does not exist in a Console app.
