When REALbasic is loading plugins in the "Plugins Folder" it assumes that rbx plugins have the correct format and it simply will load the files without error checking. Error checking is employed for all other file formats in the "Plugins Folder". It is the "plugin Converter" that you should blame, which does not exclude unwanted files and blindly copies everything into the virtual volume.
