Collection Management Device Automatically Organizes Books, Movies, Music,
And Games Using Bluetooth(r) Wireless, Barcode Technology

today unveiled IntelliScanner Cordless Collector. The Company's new
Bluetooth(r)-enabled wireless device enables users to automatically organize
books, movies, games, and music using barcode technology. Cordless Collector
is based upon the Company's award-winning IntelliScanner Collector USB
Barcode Reader, released at Macworld Expo in January 2004.

Cordless Collector features a virtually unlimited wireless range thanks to
an innovative store-and-forward memory system. If the user wanders outside
of Bluetooth(r) wireless range, or even leaves their home or office, the
device begins storing barcode information to transfer to the included
Collection software when the user returns. Once home, Collection uses
Internet-enabled AutoFill functionality to organize media in an unlimited
number of databases or personal shopping lists.
Cordless Collector Features
The new Cordless Collector includes everything in the box -- the
IntelliScanner barcode reader featuring Bluetooth(r) wireless technology,
and Collection companion software for Mac OS X. No prior knowledge about
barcodes or retail technologies is required. The new product features:
- Wireless Barcode Scanning: Cordless Collector makes it easy to scan the
barcodes found on books, DVDs, and other media. Featuring an 250 barcode
store-and-forward memory system, the device has virtually unlimited range.
Working together using Bluetooth(r) wireless technology, the host computer
and scanner automatically connect when in close proximity, downloading
barcodes from memory and creating a live connection for instant scanning.
Featuring a balanced, lightweight design and single-trigger activation,
Cordless Collector makes collecting easy on Mac OS X.
- Innovative Companion Software: Collection, Cordless Collector's included
media organization software, features the ability to organize, sort,
search, and browse media collections in a single window design. Since the
software's initial release in January, new features including support for
console video games, international media, Unicode, FileMaker export tools,
advanced printing capabilities, Add By Name functionality, and tab-delimited
export.
- AutoFill: Utilizing the information found on the barcode, along with
Internet data sources, Collection displays product details including title,
authors, directors, actors, publishers, genres, media types, release dates,
prices, graphical artwork and more. Users can scan the items they already
own -- anywhere -- or carry their Cordless Collector shopping and build a
shopping list of things to consider later.
- Advanced Tools For Sharing: Corldess Collector makes it easy to share
media with others, featuring tracking tools for lending out items, virtual
bookmarks, personal ratings, physical location tracking, and HTML export
functionality. Advanced lending tools track borrowers, notifying friends and
co-workers via e-mail when borrowed media is expected back. Cordless
Collector also features FileMaker Pro, iPod, and Palm sync.

Cordless Collector requires Mac OS X 10.3 "Panther" or later, an Internet
connection, and Bluetooth(r) wireless capabilities (either internal or
provided by a third-party adapter). The package, including both the Cordless
