Keyboard-based Mac OS X File Launcher and Browser receives usability
improvements.
SEATTLE, Washington (August 25, 2004) -- The PandaWare Company has
updated DiskWrangler, its file launching and browsing utility for Mac
OS X. PandaWare DiskWrangler 2.0.2 enhances productivity in OS X by
giving users extensive keyboard control of files. This updated
version sports interface improvements that make it even easier to
use. PandaWare DiskWrangler is made with REALbasic from REAL
Software, Inc.
PandaWare DiskWrangler enables users to launch specific applications,
files and web and mail URLs, all from the keyboard. Its Launcher Sets
allow users to open any number of files and applications at once.
DiskWrangler lets users move from one task to another without having
to shift their attention from the keyboard to the mouse.
PandaWare DiskWrangler's disk browser lets users view and manipulate
files under keyboard control. The browser also allows users to copy,
move and delete files, and view and change file attributes and
permissions. Users can choose to view and manipulate the files and
folders the Finder shows, or see more detailed views that include
invisible items and files and folders in OS X's Unix subsystem. In
addition, the utility lets users view the contents of OS X bundles,
and reveal selected files and folders in the Finder.
