DREYSTONE SOFTWARE INTRODUCES NET STAKEOUT
SAN DIEGO, California (August 30th, 2004) -- Dreystone Software
today released a Public Beta version of Net Stakeout.
Net Stakeout is an Internet Utility which notifies you when
there are changes to watched web links. Designed for avid
news/blog readers who want to be notified as soon as there is
new content. Net Stakeout is also a valuable tool to assist
webmasters for any changes to the content of their sites. Net StakeOut is
made with REALbasic from REAL Software.
Net Stakeout uses a simple interface window which displays the
status of each web link. The OS X version also modifies the
Dock Icon with the number of "Red Alert" items.
You set the frequency and the change percentage values for a Red
Alert and Yellow Alert notification.
Net Stakeout compares the current content from the last time you
viewed the website. Since Net Stakeout uses advanced algorithms
on the content, any publically accessible web link (even images)
can be evaluated with Net Stakeout.

Net Stakeout is 1.0b15 currently being distributed as a beta
