today released Barcode Automator 3.0, a major upgrade to its batch barcode
generation suite for Mac OS X. Barcode Automator offers a streamlined

- Enhanced numeric range functionality, offering direct input for price
and step values.
- Extensive PostScript(r) font utilities, including automatic standard
to PostScript font name conversion for binary EPS output and a detailed
report of the user's fonts and their PostScript equivalents.
- Streamlined value editor interface, featuring a more readable value
grid, separate columns for values and optional data addendums, and
inline editing.
- IntelliScanner Barcode Tester: allows users to use an IntelliScanner
3200i or IntelliScanner Pro USB Barcode Reader (both from Intelli
Innovations) to test printed barcodes and verify their values. By using
an IntelliScanner with Barcode Automator, users can verify the
readability of any printed barcode on printed material.
- Integrated EAN Country Prefix reference, accounting for EAN-13, aligned
UPC-A values, and Bookland EAN (ISBN) barcodes.
- Keyboard-driven tabbed interface, offering faster access to popular
options and features for efficient barcode creation.
- New AutoRestore feature with XML storage, designed to retain and
recall last used generation options for faster use.
- Barcode Automator 3.0 is Sunrise 2005 compliant, conforming to the
