Radical Breeze Releases Illumination 1.5 for Mac OS X
Includes web-based searching, search by dates, disc notes and other
enhancements.
EVERETT, Washington (September 13th, 2004) -- Radical Breeze has
released Illumination 1.5, a free update to their disk cataloging and
searching application for MacOS X. Version 1.5 brings the ability to
search from a web interface, add notes to discs and search by date.
Illumination is made with REALbasic from REAL Software, Inc.
"Illumination allows Mac users to quickly search through their disks,
whether those disks are currently in their Mac or not," stated Bryan
Lund, President of Radical Breeze. "And now with version 1.5, users
don't even need to be in front of their Mac to search for their files.
With the built-in Illumination web server, users (and their family or
co-workers) can find what disc a file is on from any computer with a
web browser."
What's New in Illumination 1.1:
- Built-in, optional webserver to allow searching remotely via a web
browser.
- Can now search by creation and modification dates.
- Can now add notes to individual discs using the disc note drawer.
- Easy renaming of indexed discs.
- Results window now displays data for all fields searched (date, size,
etc).
