immediate availability of Macintosh Explorer 4.2. A free, major update to
the integrated file browser and file management tool and the first Macintosh
file browser to include tabbed file browsing.
Macintosh Explorer brings the hierarchical navigation style of Windows
Explorer to the Mac. Complete with filter based file browsing and all new
tabbed browsing, Macintosh Explorer surpass the functionality of Windows
Explorer. Also offering powerful file management tools such as the batch
file info changer, back up utilities, folder archiving features and extended

Macintosh Explorer 4.2 adds spring loading tabs, the ability to calculate
folder size while browsing, an auto-complete path field allowing you to
quickly jump to specific folders on your hard drive, a snap back feature
which lets you quickly snap back to the last entered directory, speed
improvements and many other minor enhancements. Macintosh Explorer 4.2 is a
free upgrade to registered 4.x users.
