Thumbnail file previews and faster file browsing added
TORONTO, Ontario (April 5, 2005) - Rage Software announced today the
immediate availability of Macintosh Explorer 4.3, a major update to the
first ever tabbed file browser and file management tool for the Mac. This
free update adds thumbnail browsing, allowing users to preview pictures
while they browse, and significantly improved file listing speed.
Macintosh Explorer brings the hierarchical, tree-view navigation style of
Windows Explorer to the Mac. Combining powerful file management tools along
with a unique approach to Mac file browsing, Macintosh Explorer is the first
Macintosh file browser to offer tabbed file browsing, thumbnail previews

connecting nodes between sub directories and their parent directories; a new
interface for tabbed file browsing, similar to Apple's Safari Web Browser;
and instantaneous file sorting that is remembered between folders.
