TORONTO, Ontario, Canada (May 16, 2005) -- Intuitec Software Inc. has
released
a MAJOR UPDATE to its Stock Analysis and Selection Software™ - SASS.
SASS v1.5.0
continues in providing major enhancements and additions that are
not available
in any other stock analysis program.
With v1.5.0, SASS has gained the ability to fetch detailed current
stock quote
info from the net. See Last, Change, Volume, High, Low, Bid, Ask,
among others.
Also get a chart of intraday or historical stock prices and volumes,
from 1 day
up to 10 years. Plot multiple price graphs on the same chart by
putting in more
than one symbol, separating each with a comma but no spaces. Putting
AAPL,IBM,MOT
into the Symbol field results in detailed stock info about Apple, and
a graph
with Apple, IBM and Motorola all superimposed. Even graph stock
market indexes,
either alone or with one or more stocks. Best of all, no membership or
subscription fees are required. (Requires that your computer have
access to the
Internet, with cable or DSL connection preferred.)
Other improvements in SASS v1.5.0 include:
-Choice for Zoning of 1/3-1/3-1/3 or 1/4-1/2-1/4 (of the difference
between the
Upside and Downside prices), to restrict or broaded the stock price
Buy and Sell
zones,
-Data Creation Date added to the Current Fiscal Year table, to assist
user in
keeping track of user modifications to data,
-Font Size menu added to assist in readability of graphs and tables,
-The month that the Fiscal Year ends added to Summary Sales, EPS and
Price
tables, the Annual Data table, and the Measures of Growth tables and
graphs, to
eliminate confusion of exact year end.
-Handling of condition for NAIC OPS .ssg files where for Fiscal Year
End months
prior to June.
-Plot of Recent Sales and EPS for current year changed to the
Trailing 4 Quarters
value.
-Updating of the zoning calculation in the Risk vs. Reward sub-tab,
upon update
of Current Price.
Users of ANY registered version of SASS are eligible for this MAJOR
UPGRADE, free
of charge.
Background
SASS carries out a comprehensive Fundamental Value Based Analysis of
a publically
traded company's historical and current financial data to assist
individuals - as
well as members of stock clubs - in quickly determining whether a
publicly traded
company is worth further investigation.
The interface is clean, clear and intuitive. Graphs allow users to
visually SEE
how the stock has been doing, showing users changes in a company's
growth trend,
helping determine whether the stock price is on sale, fairly
priced, or
overvalued. Once the data is in SASS, users view up to 10 years of
historical
information. Tables and graphs displayed analyze the company's past
performance,
and assist users in assessing a company's future potential
performance. SASS also
provides metrics for evaluating the ability of the company to
maintain its
profitability. Users can omit anomalous years of past performance if
considered
unrepresentative of the overall trend. Estimate the future price
range of a
company, its Reward to Risk ratio, and its potential Future Return.
SASS also
helps determine if a stock's current price is in the Buy, Maybe or
Sell zones.
Either import existing .ssg files into SASS, or key in financial data
by hand.
SASS allows users to open .ssg files available from either the National
Association of Investors Corporation (NAIC) or the Canadian Shareowners
Association (CSA).
For members NAIC members and subscriber to the Better Investing OPS
service,
SASS provides the ability to download .ssg files from the NAIC's
website via a
site registered e-mail and password (Internet access required).
For individuals who are not investment club members, but are
interested in
carrying out a Fundamental Value Based Analysis of publically traded
stocks, SASS
is the answer. SASS gives them the ability to retrieve the necessary
financial
data for US and Canadian public companies from the internet, with no
membership
or subscription fees required. No other program provides this much
info at no
extra charge!
SASS is the only program of its kind available for the Classic Mac
(OS 8.6 or
9.2), Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux. This multi-platform capability is
made
possible via a single code base, with REAL Software, Inc.'s REALbasic
cross
platform IDE. This allows users to run SASS natively, no matter what
their chosen
platform. The saved .ssg files are transparent to any version of SASS,
independent of platform.
A free 15 day demo version is available for download from the
Intuitec Software
Inc website at:
http://www.intuitecsoftware.com/
This demo version of SASS is fully functional, except that Download,
