NICHENICH, Germany (May 30, 2005) -- Monkeybread Software releases
IP in menubar v3.2, an application to show the current IP address in the
menubar.
This small application shows the current IP of your Mac in the menu bar.
It is an example on what you can do in REALbasic using the MBS Plugins
on global menus.
For developers: The application uses a modified plst resource in the
Resource file to make it a background application.
New in this version:
* Allows IP shorting on router IPs.
* Now supports using smaller fonts.
New in version 3.1:
* Fixed the router IP display as whatismyip.orgchanged the html respond.
Requires Mac OS X 10.2 or newer; source code is included. This
application shows REALbasic developers how to create and update a menu
in the top right of the menu bar.
The application is freeware, but contributions are accepted through
PayPal.
