NICKENICH, Germany (December 7, 2005) -- Monkeybread Software releases
version 5.4 of the MBS plug-in for REALbasic.
The MBS plug-in comprises a collection of several plug-in parts which
extend the REALbasic development environment with over 500 classes and 4
controls featuring over 11000 documented functions.
The plug-ins require REALbasic 3.5 or newer. Also required are 75 MB
hard disc space and around 16 MB of RAM in addition to the requirements
of REALbasic and your operation system itself.
While all plug-in parts compile on Mac OS 8.x, Mac OS 9.x, Mac OS X and
Windows, each function may depend on additional system requirements to
work successfully. Some plugin parts support Linux.
Plugin licenses are available for the year 2005:
40 Euro (+sales tax) for private/educational and
80 Euro (+sales tax) for company/business.
(around US $55 for private and US $110 for commercial with the current
exchange rates)

Following are the major additions to the plug-in collection:
* Updated LCMS classes (e.g. CMProfileMBS) to use version 1.1.5 of this
nice library.
* Added Adler32StringMBS, CRC32StringMBS, CRC32MemoryMBS and
Adler32MemoryMBS functions.
* Added Tidy plugin for XML/HTML cleanup* Added LoadFrameworkFile,
LoadDylib, LoadFramework, LoadDLL, LoadCFMLibrary to SoftDeclareMBS
class.
* Improved Eyeone support for Realbasic.
* Netter support of Linux and Mach-O targets.
* Added plugin for using Image Magick in console applications.
And a lot of small changes&fixes requested by our users.
