of MacMediaSift 1.7.3, a new tool to organize Avid mediafiles.

MacMediSift is mainly a port of MediaSift for Windows from David
Griffiths (http://www.senkou.com).
The goal of MacMediaSift is to give the editor a tool to organize
Avid mediafiles. You can sift and copy mediafiles relative to a
project or an Avid bin. The design of the program is very
conservative: It will never erase a file and will not overwrite files
which are already on the destination.
MacMediaSift is freeware and runs on any Macintosh OSX 10.2 -10.4,
where an Avid MediaComposer or an Avid Xpress is installed.
Belle Nuit Montage is a postproduction facility based in Lausanne,
Switzerland since 1995. It is mainly oriented to independent
documentary production. The Belle Nuit Website <http://www.belle-
nuit.com> holds valuable information about nonlinear editing, digital
video production and video to film transfer. The Belle Nuit software
department has already published the Subtitler, the Textfilter and
the Imagefilter application, the TCplus time code calculator, time
code extensions for Excel and Filemaker and avx-plugins for Avid
editing systems with our partner 3prong.
MacMediaSift has been made with Realbasic and the plugins from MBS.
