CHICAGO, Illinois, USA (January 25, 2006) -- Oranged.net Software
releases an update to the best organizational tool for studios and
freelancers: Studiometry.
Studiometry is the best, most complete solution for companies to
organize, plan, invoice, track and create with Client and Project data.
Studiometry 3.2, a free update to registered 3.x users, adds many
features and enhancements. Oranged Software has a reputation for
listening to user feedback and providing features and functionality
requested by users. This update adds integration with two
applications commonly requested by Studiometry users.
iCal: Along with the existing complete integration with Address Book,
Studiometry can now sync To Do's, Invoice due dates, and Project
deadlines to Apple's iCal. This functionality now makes it a
completely automated process to get your Studiometry information to
your iPod or other iCal compatible device.
Quickbooks: While many users use Studiometry's built in accounting
features, some require integration with Quickbooks. Studiometry can
now export directly to Quickbooks format (.iif), making it incredibly
easy to incorporate your Studiometry payment and expense information
into your Quickbooks accounting package. The exporting functions are
flexible and powerful enough to let the user get the exact desired
result between their Studiometry information and Quickbooks database,
even if the account names do not match.
Many other features have been added in Studiometry 3.2, such as
column totals for hours worked and total value in the work tab.
Studiometry now also has the ability to compare the estimated amount
to the actual amount of hours and value directly beneath the list of
work items. Totals are now also shown for payments columns, client's
project information, and more. All of these new requested features
are completely integrated with the Studiometry interface and require
no setup.
Studiometry's GANTT chart/Project Planning section has also been
updated. Users can now assign employees to specific tasks or
milestones associated with the GANTT chart, and even specify the
hours each employee must work on each item. A new tooltip is also
shown to easily view an item's dependencies and associated employees.
Many other updates and enhancements have been added with this update.
