Update: Barcode Producer 3.7 Adds QuarkXPress 7 Beta Support,
Enhanced 13-Digit ISBN Barcode Support
CARY, North Carolina (March 6, 2006) - Intelli Innovations, Inc. is
pleased to release Barcode Producer 3.7, a point update to the
industry-leading barcode generation software suite for Mac OS X.
New features in Barcode Producer 3.7:
- QuarkXPress 7 Support: barcode output is now optimized for use
with the new QuarkXPress 7 beta. Barcode Producer's EPS output
includes
an embedded preview for programs like QuarkXPress that "pass along"
vector EPS graphics to output devices, without parsing the image
data.
- Enhanced 13-Digit ISBN Support (our biggest request this year!):
To assist in creating Bookland EAN barcodes representing the new
13-digit ISBN standard, Barcode Producer now automatically adds check
digits to 13-digit ISBNs, and can convert an existing 10-digit
ISBN to
the new 13-digit standard, including its replacement check digit.
- Improved ISBN Check Digit Calculator: Now supports 13-digit standards.
- Bookland EAN Issue Number Support: When creating a barcode that
represents an ISBN, Barcode Producer now supports a 2-character price
extension, used to indicate an issue or add-on number. To use this
feature, choose "Custom" as the price, then enter the 2-digit value.
- POSTNET Instant Transfer: users can now send POSTNET barcodes directly
to Mac OS X's Preview application with one click, just like Barcode
Producer's other barcode types.
Barcode Producer is $149.00 for Mac OS X. This release is a free upgrade
for all Barcode Producer 3.x license holders. For additional product
