REALbasic 2006 Release 2 Ships; Improves Reliability and Adds New Features

AUSTIN, Texas, USA (April 10, 2006) — REAL Software, provider of REALbasic, cross-platform that really works, announced today it is shipping REALbasic 2006 Release 2, continuing on the company's commitment to deliver updates to customers based on a 90-day rapid release cycle.

REALbasic 2006 Release 2 delivers over 150 improvements throughout the product. This includes improvements to the code editor, window editor, project editor, the compiler and built applications. This release also includes a new version of Lingua™, a utility first included in REALbasic 2006 Release 1 for localizing applications.

REALbasic 2006 Release 2 also includes a number of new features, including an update to the code editor to hide events that contain no code and additional mouse cursors, including invisible, show and hide cursor commands.
