To measure the true performance of your application, always build and test a stand-alone version of it. The stand-alone version will perform as well (and
in most cases better than) the project running in the REALbasic IDE. For
example, a function I recently wrote to rotate a picture executes 600%
faster in the stand-alone application than in the REALbasic IDE.
