I've never posted a job opening on the Tips list but I thought some of you
out there might jump at the chance to write software with REALbasic on a
full-time basis (if you're not already).
SeaTrax in Houston, Texas is looking for a full-time, permanent REALbasic
programmer. They are switching from Windows to Macintosh and need to have
several applications they use in house re-written in REALbasic. These
applications are currently written in Borland TurboBasic and dBbase and run
under MS-DOS. The first phase of the job will be rewriting the applications.
The second phase will involve deploying the apps, maintaining them, adding
new features, etc. The job will also involve end user support for Mac
software and hardware.
The ideal candidate has at least an intermediate level of experience with
REALbasic, databases and some technical writing experience. Interested
